888.com's World Poker Crown

We did it again: only via Info4Poker, a tournament for extra tickets for the WPC, and on top of that a total of $1.200 extra money!

The World Poker Crown (WPC) by 888.com (which is Pacific Poker) is not only the chance to win a $1.000.000 price, it is also the chance to become crowned as the 2008 WPC champion in an extravagant TV tournament which will have a huge impact on the pokerworld!

Be prepared to enter the battle at the 26th of April at 11.00 Pacific Poker time with 3000 men from all over the world, and try to get your share of the $3.000.000 guaranteed price pot.

Getting a ticket for the match on the 26th will either cost you a lot of money, or a lot of time playing sattelites. But no worries, cause we can save you from all of that: We have arranged extra tickets! For this we've arranged a new league which is pretty similar to the last two $1700 tourneys. It's essentially the same, but with bigger prices!:) These special tourneys will take place on 12/15/19/22 march.

Once you've signed up, just go the lobby of PacificPoker and go to "MultiTable" (don't forget to select lobby into your local time in top-right) and then "WPC". You will then see on 12th of March (and also at the 15th, 19th & 22nd) at 8:00pm GMT a tournament called Duckytour which is our tournament. You can sign-up by simply clicking on register now. Signing up is possible until 15 minutes before the tournament starts. The tourneys will be visible in the lobby from March 5th onwards.

Here's how it works:

The tournament has a structure of 2 freerolls and 2 buy-ins:

Wednesday March the 12th – $150 freeroll
Saturday March the 15th - $10+$1 buy-in event ($150 guaranteed)
Wednesday March the 19th – $150 freeroll
Saturday March the 22nd - $10+$1 buy-in event ($150 guaranteed)

In every tournament you can earn points. At the end of the 4 events, the player with the most points will receive $300, plus a ticket for direct access to the big $3 Million match on the 26th of april!. Player number 2 wins $200, and number 3 $100... this again all on top of the price money you can already make in the 2 freerolls and the 2 buy-ins in the first place!:)

The freeroll points will be given as follows:
15 for 5th position
20 for 4th
25 for 3rd
30 for 2nd
40 for 1st

The Buy-in points are as follows:
10 points for participating
25 for 5th position
30 for 4th
35 for 3rd
40 for 2nd
50 for 1st

So please realise this: Last PacificPoker tournament we had about 60 players... if it stays to 60 players then those 60 will compete for $1.200 price money, plus a ticket for direct access to the big 3 Million tournament! This is severely increasing your chances!

Oh yeah, for the places 2 - 11 of the tournament: In case all of you are doing your very best (read: enough sign-ups) then pacific will arrange for place 2 till 11 another tournament for YET ANOTHER WPC ticket! It really doesn't get any better than that:)

Also, you do not need to participate in every tournament, if you think you can make enough points in order to get into the top 3 by only participating in three or two of those tournaments, you should go for it! Also if you don't really want to be part of the top 3, it's always a good idea to enter the freerolls, because they are just normal freerolls, which can always help to boost up your bankroll a bit more.
