Welcome to our International Player Rating (IPR)!!!
On June 29th 2007 we started rating our players from Info4Poker and our sister sites, for some friendly competition. To make it even more interesting, we have decided to invite the best of you to an exclusive tournament, the
Finale! And the best of the best will further take part in the
Grand Finale tournament!
Those tournaments will be organized by us and are
exclusive for the users of Info4Poker and feature real money prizes!
Interested? Then please read the rules below.
General Rules:
1. In each free roll organized by Info4Poker that you attend, you will collect points towards the International Ratings.
2. The points are calculated as follows:
R=Kpl+Kpz+Kt
Kpl=N-P
Kpz=Kpl*Pz
Kt=Kpl*(10-P)/10
Where:
R – Total rating points
Kpl – Place coefficient
N – Number of players in free roll
P – Place achieved
Kpz – Prize coefficient
Kt – Final table coefficient
Pz – % of prize pot received
3. The tournaments feature players from Info4Poker.com, PokerTips.nl, PokerTips.ru and PokerAuskunft.de. More sister sites will join in the future.
4. For every tournament only the total points count!
5. Players who qualify for a tournament will receive an exclusive invitation by email approximately a week in advance. They then have to confirm there attendance within 3 days. If they fail to do so or inform us of not being able to participate at the given date and/or time, the runner up will be contacted.
6. All tournaments will have money prizes and Info4Poker gifts.
7. Only free rolls, in which all member sites are allowed to participate, are legitimate for the point collection.
8. Only players who express their wish to take part in the Rating and
tell us their Nicks on our
forum for all the Poker Gaming Sites, where we have free rolls, can participate.
9. We keep an “eternal” table running from the first rated free roll on June 29th 2007, which is called the Hall of Fame and can be viewed in the menu
here.
Rating and Rules for Finale:
1. After every 20 free rolls we organize a
Finale tournament.
2. The countdown for the fist Finale, the so called Finale I, started with the first rated freeroll, on
Mermaid Poker on June 29th 2007.
3. The Finales will be counted continuously, e.g. Finale I, Finale II, …, Finale VII, and so on.
4. The Finale features the Top10 Players of the Rating.
5. In case a player is absent from our free rolls for at least 4 free rolls in a row without notifying us of a legitimate reason (e.g. holidays, sickness, etc.), he/she will be suspended from the countdown to the upcoming Finale. He/she is of course free to keep playing the free rolls, but their points will not be counted until the next Finale countdown.
6. New players can join for the count down to each Finale only within the first 4 free rolls. After this time new players are free to join the free rolls, but have to wait for the next Finale count down for their points to be counted (just like the suspended players, see point 5).
The only exception is Finale I, as for the late publishing of the rules. For this Finale the last admittance date of new players is the free roll on
PartyPoker on July 30th 2007.
7. Each player that plays in a Finale receives a special Info4Poker present send to them via post.
8. The prize pot for a Finale is $250. The first 3 places only receive a money prize.
9. After each Finale the International Rating in countdown for the next Finale begins from “0”.
10. You will be able to follow the tables for the four most recent Finale count downs in the menu, together with a list of the suspended players. The results of each Finale will also be published there.
11. Historical tables will be kept in our
forum under the topic “International Player Ranking”.
Rating and Rules for Grand Finale:
1. After every 4 Finales a
Grand Finale will be organized and also counted continuously (e.g. Finale I-IV = Grand Finale I; F V-VIII = GF II; and so on).
2. The Grand Finale will feature the Top 3 players from each counting Finale.
3. Each player that plays in a Grand Finale receives a special Info4Poker present send to them via post.
4. The prize pot for a Grand Finale is $350. The first 3 places only receive a money prize.
5. The results of the most recent Grand Finale will be published in the menu here. Historical results will be kept in our
forum under the topic “International Player Ranking”.
So have fun and good luck!!!
