Below we lay out the different combinations possible in poker, from high to low:
Royal Flush
The five highest cards from Ace to 10 (the highest street), which are also of the same figure (called:
suited).
Example:




Straight Flush
Five cards which combine to a street and which are also of the same figure (they are
suited).
Example:




Four of a kind
Four of the same kind/type of cards.
Example:



Full house
Three cards of the same kind/type (
three of a kind) combined with two cards of the same kind/type (a
pair).
Example:




In case more players have a
full house, the winner will be determined by identifying the highest
three of a kind and then by the highest
pair.
Flush
Five cards of the same figure (
suited).
Example:




In case more players have a
flush, the winner is determined by the highest card. The above is for example a
flush "Ace-high".
Straight
Five successive cards.
Example:




In case more players have a
straight, the winner is determined by the highest card.
Three of a kind
Three cards of the same.
Example:


Two Pair
Two times two cards of the same kind, in other words two pairs.
Example:



In case more players have two
pair, the winner is first determined by the highest
pair, then by the lowest.
One Pair
Two cards of the same kind, in other words a couple.
Example:

High card
If none of the players have any of the above mentioned combinations, the highest card determines the winner, from hight to low: Ace, King, Queen, Jack, 10 till 2
